Trading Standards Officer

Full Vacancy Description

We are seeking 2 experienced Trading Standards Officers to conduct investigations, prepare court files and conduct PACE interviews on behalf of a midlands based local authority Trading Standards team

You will be mainly working on a project for vapes and will seize any products that do not fall within the standards. This is a full-time temporary assignment, currently for 9 months.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in securing this role, you will have prior experience within Trading Standards, working knowledge with enforcing legislations, and an awareness of law around evidence. You should also demonstrate excellent communication and administrative skills as you will also write up reports for investigations.
