Full Vacancy Description

We are looking for a food qualified Trading Standards Enforcement Officer to join a west midlands Trading Standards department on a contract basis.

The role involves responding to and investigating instances of breaches of a wide variety of trading standards legislation. This includes but is not restricted to food standards, product safety and fair trading, via intervention, business advice and sampling as required by the needs of the service. An enforcement background and food standards qualification as per the Food Law Code of Practice is essential.
