Trading Standards Manager

A professional, dedicated, experienced and qualified Trading Standards Manager is required on a temporary basis to lead the small team for a south London local authority.

Qualified in Weights and Measures, the successful candidate will be required to plan, manage and take personal responsibility for delivery for a programme of underage test purchasing, and seeing cases through to prosecution where relevant.

They will also be responsible for identifying, planning and delivering a series of projects ranging in scale, which boost consumer confidence, protect our most vulnerable residents, and which shed a positive light on the borough and how seriously we value fair trading and the protection of our residents, particularly those who are most vulnerable, from unscrupulous traders.
