We require a x2 Trading Standards Technical Officer/Enforcement Officers to work within our Trading Standards department.

The successful candidates will:

Skills and Experience:

Have previous experience of working in a Trading Standards service as an Enforcement Officer.  They will have good communication skills and be able to work well within a team but also have the confidence to work alone when necessary.  They should have a driving licence and ideally be able to provide their own vehicle for work.

As the successful candidate you will be able to demonstrate experience and knowledge of the following:

Essential:

Experience of using a case management system to record work

Knowledge of legislation relating to trademarks, underage sales, illicit tobacco

Experience of taking witness statements and preparing prosecution reports

Desirable:

Experience of using the APP case management system

Knowledge of legislation relating to fair trading, product safety
