We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic person to join our dynamic Trading Standards team and lead on tobacco enforcement. This post is jointly funded with Public Health and will be focussed on delivering the enforcement objectives of the National Tobacco Plan.

You will build upon our established work to reduce the prevalence of illicit and illegal tobacco across London, whilst having the freedom to develop and expand the remit of the role.

We are looking for someone with strong communication skills who can comfortably work with partners both internal and external to the council. The post holder will be expected to represent the Council within wider London Trading Standards groups.

Experience in conducting complex investigations (including e-crime) is essential, along with an understanding of the importance of intelligence in a modern service and the ability to work as part of a team. This role will also give you the opportunity to be involved in other aspects of Trading Standards work on a day-to-day basis.
