Private Sector Housing Officer

Full Vacancy Description

Private Sector Housing Officer/Environmental Health Officer will carry out HMO inspections, investigate failure to licence cases and taking enforcement action as necessary.

Candidate will be expected to take part in early morning multi-agency visits and be on a duty rota.

Candidate must have a degree in Environmental Health or related degree

Candidate must have served Housing Act and other enforcement notices

Candidate must have served Financial Penalty Notices

Candidate must have prepared cases for Court/Tribunal hearings and given evidence as a witness.

some early starts will be required.
