An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Investigator / Disclosure Officer to join our East Midlands local authority Trading Standards department on a temporary basis.

We are looking for an individual with substantial experience of investigating large scale fraud

Previous experience of investigation of motor dealers would be an advantage

The role will involve statement taking, decision making, providing disclosures and maintaining and implementing information.

You must have a flexible approach to work

You must be computer literate, have good administrative skills and experience of dealing effectively with people both within and outside of the organisation.

Having previous experience within a disclosure role is essential however experience in any of the above areas would also be beneficial.

You may come from a Police or Trading Standards, or a legal or Freedom of Information/Data Protection background and will ideally be familiar with police systems or have worked within a legal or public sector environment.
