To manage and support a team of Environmental Health Officers undertaking inspection and enforcement duties including those of a more complex nature.
Interpret and draft reports; report and advice Chief Officers and Members etc. on environmental health and safety matters.
Attend committees, working parties etc. as appropriate. Give evidence at legal proceedings and public enquiries.
Qualified Environmental Health Officer EHORB registered Knowledge and ability to apply and interpret the related areas of law
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing Ability to work under own initiative and as part of a team
Ability to work under pressure and to prioritise workload
UK driving licence and have their own car available to use at work
