TRADING STANDARDS FEED OFFICER VACANCIES - 6 MONTH CONTRACTS

Our local authority client has a large amount of inspections that could cause a backlog of work heading into the next financial year.

The role will require applicants to complete different duties within the team, but will predominantly focus on the sampling and feed inspections within the local authority. This includes:

•         Feed

•         Animal health

•         Sampling

•         Manufacturers

•         Pet food

•         Feed mills and Farms

Essential qualifications

•         BSc in Trading Standards.

•         Relevant qualifications as required by the FLCOP (i.e. DCATS Agriculture paper or equivalent).

•         Capacity to accomplish a range of interference's including sampling as defined under the Food Standards Agency's Feed Law Code of Practice (FLCOP).

•         Strong IT skills including Microsoft packages.
